I would like to say a big thank you, Lee Morris, for putting up with the many emails I sent regarding my new Niro and picking the right colour. He has let me know every month what was happening with the arrival of my car just I was unfortunate to be on holiday when it arrived at the garage but again no problem for Lee to sort out for me. The service is always excellent but I felt you really went the extra mile, pardon the pun! The car was returned serviced, fully valeted and even the little extras like the tin of sweets just make that service feel extra special. The repairs could not be fully completed but you ran a temporary repair that enabled me to go on holiday with air conditioning which was perfect. The car is now booked in to finish the repairs & I actually look forward to bringing my car back knowing it will be a good experience. She (My Wife) has had a short drive and is delighted with the “auto” process and the fact she doesn’t have to use her left leg/knee to change gear. The sales team was extremely helpful, even though I just walked into the showroom. We identified potential new cars, and an appointment was made for a test drive. I felt valued, and they were keen to exchange my Sportage.
The showroom was spotless, with beautifully presented cars. I received a prompt call from Anti, my dedicated salesman. He was knowledgeable, and I felt well-informed throughout. I opted for a Kia Soul Mixx after test-driving a different model, as I wanted something a bit funkier than the Sportage.
When I returned from holiday, Anti had prepared the perfect deal. He even sent me a picture of the car with my name next to it, creating suspense for the unveiling.
The handover was special, with an unveiling, photos, and extras like roof bars and Life Shine at no extra cost. To top it off, I was given a bouquet and got to drive the car out of the showroom myself.

This is just a short note to thank you for a brilliant experience at your dealership. The Ford Kuga that we purchased is a wonderful car and although it wasn’t a new car the condition, preparation, valeting and servicing was exemplary.
Your Sales Person, Dave Webb, was outstanding from the outset. He was polite, sociable and very professional and although I know it is his job to sell cars he wasn’t overzealous or pushy. He listened to us and our requirements and assisted us in any way he could to achieve us getting the car in a deal that suited the customer and not the selling criteria alone. He was friendly towards us as people and not just about getting our cash.
This is car selling at its best – we arrived as strangers and left as friends.
Dave Webb has the perfect attitude as a salesman. He was positive in his job but friendly too and this did help to secure the deal. If only all dealerships were like this. We have had two Kia Sportages, one purchased from Burton Kia and the current one from TMS Kia. Our experiences with Burton Kia were very trying at times, so much so that we went to Loughborough Kia, but the service here was even worse and we were charged over at hundred pounds for a fault that did not exist. We have taken our new car back to TMS for the first service and were completely satisfied with every aspect of the service, the customer care and the welcome we received.
We feel we must mention our Salesman, Anti, who gave us such good service when we purchased the vehicle, fully understanding our requirements and ensuring that the vehicle was ready for us to go on holiday. After our previous experience with Burton Kia, he made our purchase and the details of the service plan, etc. very clear to us and we felt that we could actually purchase another Sportage. He rang several times to check that we were satisfied or if we had any questions. He has also telephoned on a couple of occasions to check if everything was ok. When we took the car for our six months check he came over to see us and again at the 12 month service. All the staff, Tony in particular have been so kind, professional and courteous towards me whilst still managing to be friendly and very receptive in conversation and small talk. Indeed, I would now class Tony has a friend rather than merely just the gentleman who dealt with my vehicle. Also, further to this Moira and Richard have always been very friendly and chirpy in a most kindly fashion which really puts a person at ease when entering the establishment. He has been most informative with any information on any Vehicles I have been interested in and does so with a real professionalism, but is also a person with which I have shared more than one funny and comedic moment with whilst visiting Volvo. These staff I believe are what makes TMS such a profound success......a real Analogue, Human and Hands on touch in an otherwise Digital Age.
And so I have moved next door to TMS Kia, and on to a new brand and set of staff.
Again, I am most delighted to report that the staff on the Kia side are absolutely brilliant. Anti, in particular has been excellent and a real professional whilst being a truly nice person to deal with and has made purchasing my new vehicle a real stress free experience which I am thankful of. Lee in finance also deserves a mention has he is a true gent and has advised and been so helpful with things. Indeed, I could sing the praises of all the staff at both sides of TMS Hinckley for many more words. I called in at the showroom on a Tuesday afternoon never having even sat in a KIA and by Thursday I was driving my new car off the parking lot! Was looking to buy an SUV (compact). Kia staff , Josh in particular, helped us massively with explaining our options based on our requirements. We purchased brand new Kia Niro 4 Self charging Hybrid. He made it really easy for us to narrow it down. I've to mention that he was not pushy at all. He gave us enough time to think and promptly delivered the vehicle on time. I have now had three Kia vehicles to which I have bought now from Kia Hinckley two Kia Niros, One was a special edition in 2016 & now a level 4 on July 1st this year. Such a great dealership which actually do what they say they will do, no if's or but's. Everything she said she would do she did even sorted my private plate out to transfer to my new 2021 Kia Niro so I could drive away in it on the day I picked it up and left my old Kia Niro with her. I write to inform you of how impressed I have been with two of your Leicester Sales Team – Ricki Hayre from Volvo and Kenny Ashton from Kia.
Having looked at a number of SUV’s and small city cars my wife and I recently purchased an XC40 and a Picanto from your Leicester Volvo and Kia showrooms – and I have to say that a major influence on our final choices of cars was the professionalism of these two guys.
Our experience of visiting other manufacturer’s showrooms was very mixed – some were very good and some were awful (reinforcing my unfair view of car sales persons) – but Ricki and Kenny were truly awesome. They were both very personable and instantly put us at ease, they were knowledgeable about their products, they were not pushy, and as already stated they were both incredibly professional; which made the whole experience of buying two new cars very enjoyable. I very much hope that they both remain with the TMS Group for many years and I look forward to dealing with them when we switch to electric cars in 3-4 years time!
I rarely write a letter of this nature as I expect good customer service to be provided as the norm – but the exceptional service provided by Ricki and Kenny compelled me to send this email.
Finally I add that we are very pleased with both cars and the ongoing support provided by both dealerships (and give special mention to Ali Culpedin from Volvo who has been particularly helpful setting up all of the XC40’s settings/controls).

Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, this is our third car from these people and over the many visits we have paid them visits they never fail to treat us with the utmost respect and friendliness, so much so that I have just put our neighbour in touch with them and they are in the process of buying a Sportage this week. As a woman I usually dread walking into car dealerships! Anticipating the moment that you'll get pounced on by pushy 'know it all' sales people that just totally ruin the experience. It is safe to say that from the moment I stepped foot into Kia Hinckley I was treated with the up most respect & courtesy.
Eddie Goode was my sales representative and I really believe he deserves special recognition. I usually get baffled by 'car specs' 'finance' 'PCP plans' etc but Eddie explained everything so clearly, answered all my questions, offered me a test drive there & then, gave me excellent details on the Sportage, and when I thought it was going to fall down due to outstanding finance on my then existing car he managed to rework the numbers for me so I was still able to afford my dream car! Eddie even stepped in and sorted the finance with me due to staff sickness of who I was supposed to be meeting with. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Meaning I got to drive away in my dream car just 10 days after my initial meeting.
I really believe a lot of other sale representatives could learn a lot from Eddie in his mannerisms and approach to selling!
Absolutely loved the day I picked up my Sportage with it being parked up in the show room, Eddie thoroughly went through everything and even got a bunch of flowers! I felt very special!
Will absolutely be recommending to anyone looking for a new car.
