TMS Motor Group had the privilege to sponsor the Disabled Strongman Event recently, where they were many Guiness World Records broken.

We recieved this lovely gold medal from Beckie & Martin as a thank you for sponsoring the event.

About The Disabled Strongman Event.........

Disabled Strongman was established in Iceland in 1996, from there it has grown and competitions are held worldwide with the help of Magnus Ver Magnusson (4 times World’s Strongest Man) developing the event into what it is today.

Beckie Ingram and Martin Tye were given the opportunity to bring the sport to the first ever Arnolds Sports Festival UK in 2021, which was an initiative developed by Eddie Hall in conjunction with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 2022 they repeated this effort, only it was bigger, better and on a larger platform.

They hosted athletes from around the world over 2 days of competition and the athletes are all self-funded and without our amazing sponsors, couldn’t put on any of these top level competitions.

The athletes are lifting weights in excess of 500kg for Seated Deadlift and have multiple World Record Holders along with a Guinness World Record Holder competing.

There are 4 Classifications for men and women, with 2 seated and 2 standing categories for each.

Disabilities include, but not limited to:

Injured Military Veterans

Ataxia
Cerebral Palsy
Nerve Damage
Multiple Sclerosis
Lower and Upper limb amputations
Visually Impaired
Paralysis
