Exterior design of the Volvo EX30
The Volvo EX30 boasts Volvo's Scandinavian flair both inside and out. It features Volvo's trademark design that incorporates clean and bold lines giving it a distinctive and eye-catching look. The front of the car sports sleek LED headlights resembling Thor's hammer and a large grille that is blanked off to enhance aerodynamics. The bonnet exhibits muscular lines that slope down to the front bumper. The sides of the car feature a sharp shoulder line and bulging rear arches, adding to its sporty appeal.
Additionally, the car is equipped with alloy wheels optimised for airflow and efficiency. Moving to the rear, you'll find C-shaped LED taillights and a vertical brake light bar at the top of the tailgate. Every detail makes the EX30 something special.
At our preview event, the Volvo EX30 was showcased in Crystal White, a stunning colour that captivates from every angle and is likely to be a popular choice. However, the Volvo EX30 is available in four other colours, including Vapour Grey, Onyx Black, Moss Yellow, and Cloud Blue. No matter which colour you choose, you're sure to stand out from the crowd
Inside the Volvo EX30
After being captivated by the aesthetics of the Volvo EX30, we took the time to explore the interior.
Inside the EX30, its spacious and versatile seating and cargo capacity have been designed to meet all your needs. Comfortable ergonomic seats are provided for all five passengers, with easily adjustable front seats for the perfect position. The rear seats, with a 40/60 split design, allow you to transport both passengers and cargo without sacrificing comfort. ISOFIX attachments ensure the safe installation of child seats.
The load compartment is both stylish and functional, featuring a regular shape without intrusion from the rear-wheel suspension. Shopping bag hooks and load-securing eyelets help keep your cargo organised. The two-split rear backrest allows you to combine both cargo and passengers while maintaining comfort.
The maximum load volume behind the rear seats is 318 litres, with an additional 61 litres concealed beneath the load floor. The adjustable load floor comes in two levels for added convenience. Moreover, the front load compartment offers clever storage for items such as the charging cable and warning triangle, keeping them protected from dirt and moisture while creating extra space in the rear load compartment.

From the efficient and eco-conscious Single Motor configuration to the extended range capabilities of the Single Motor Extended Range variant, and finally, the exhilarating performance of the Twin Motor model, Volvo has left no stone unturned in delivering an electrifying driving experience.

EX30 Single Motor Performance:
The Volvo EX30 model offers a compelling Single Motor configuration with rear-wheel drive (RWD) and an automatic transmission. It boasts 272 horsepower (200 kW) and an impressive 343 Nm of torque, ensuring robust performance on the road. This Single Motor variant can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.7 seconds, attaining a top speed of 112 mph. In terms of electric performance, it offers a combined electric range of up to 213.8 miles, with an electric energy consumption of 16.7 kWh per 100 kilometres. For city driving, it excels even further, offering an electric range of up to 295.2 miles with an energy consumption of 12.1 kWh per 100 kilometres. The 51.0 kWh battery can be charged at home in approximately 6 hours, making it a practical choice for daily commuting.*
EX30 Single Motor Extended Range:
For those seeking extended electric range without compromising on power, the Single Motor Extended Range version of the Volvo EX30 is an enticing option. Similar to its Single Motor counterpart, it features rear-wheel drive and an automatic transmission, delivering 272 horsepower (200 kW) and 343 Nm of torque. What sets it apart is its remarkable acceleration, achieving 0-62 mph in just 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 112 mph. The standout feature, however, is its extended electric range, providing up to 298.3 miles on a combined cycle with an energy consumption of 15.7 kWh per 100 kilometres. In urban environments, it can cover up to 411.3 miles with a highly efficient energy consumption of 11.4 kWh per 100 kilometres. The larger 69.0 kWh battery necessitates an 8-hour home charging time and a 27-minute charge at a DC fast charging station.*
EX30 Twin Motor Performance:
For those who crave even more power and versatility, the Volvo EX30 Twin Motor Performance model is the ultimate choice. Equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD) and an automatic transmission, it boasts a commanding 428 horsepower (315 kW) and a substantial 543 Nm of torque. This results in exhilarating acceleration, rocketing from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds while maintaining a top speed of 112 mph.
